Eric Nazarian is an Armenian-American filmmaker, writer and photographer from Los Angeles. A graduate of the University of Southern California’s (USC) School of Cinematic Arts, he is the recipient of the Nicholl Fellowship in Screenwriting from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. His first film, The Blue Hour premiered at the 55th San Sebastian International Film Festival and 25th Torino Film Festival, winning several awards on the international film festival circuit, including the Golden Apricot for Best Film in the Armenian Panorama at the Golden Apricot International Film Festival in Yerevan and the Best Director Award at the AFFMA Film Festival. He co-wrote the film Three Christs starring Richard Gere and Peter Dinklage, released by IFC Films. Currently, he is in post-production on his upcoming second feature film, Die Like a Man and finished Tatanka, a short film about the moms of the MMIW – the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women in Pine Ridge as part of the UN sponsored InterActions global film anthology.
